Position Overview

As the Newsletter Lead, you will be responsible for coordinating and producing the India Watch Briefing under the umbrella of GenEI. You will bring together contributions from across the team, compile them into a polished edition, and oversee publication — playing a key editorial role in one of GenEI’s flagship products. You will report directly to our Co-Founder Patrizia, which will exercise a light oversight.

The position is voluntary, with an expected commitment of approximately 2–3 hours per edition.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect short contributions from section contributors across the team.
• Compile and structure each newsletter edition based on a fixed template.
• Ensure consistency in tone, length, and formatting throughout.
• Prepare a near-final draft for review ahead of publication.
• Coordinate publication via Substack.

Post-Specific Requirements

• Strong organisational skills and reliability, with the ability to manage a recurring production cycle.
• Basic editing and structuring ability, with a good eye for consistency and presentation.
• Comfortable working independently and meeting deadlines without close supervision.

General Requirements

• Passion for EU-India relations and youth engagement.
• Be a national of any of the 27 EU Member States, India, or a country recognised as an EU membership candidate.
• Be between 18 and 35 years old.
