
Position Overview
As an Editor, you will support the Editor-in-Chief in overseeing the production and publishing of high-quality publications. You will also contribute to shaping GenEI’s editorial guidelines, ensuring content aligns with GenEI’s mission and resonates with our audience.
The position is voluntary, with an expected commitment of 4-5 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities
- Proofread submissions with a critical eye, adding your feedback and improvement suggestions.
- Assist in developing and implementing GenEI’s editorial guidelines.
- Support and mentor contributors, helping them refine their ideas and writing.
- Work with other GenEI committees to ensure content reflects the organization’s initiatives and goals.
- Oversee the publishing schedule to ensure timely and regular publishing.
Post-Specific Requirements
- Strong interest in editorial work.
- Proven experience in writing and editing.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural environment.
General Requirements
- Passion for EU-India relations and youth engagement.
- Be a national of any of the 27 EU Member States, India, or a country recognised as an EU membership candidate.
- Be between 18 and 35 years old.
