By joining as an Associate Member, you become part of our growing community of young professionals, students, and enthusiasts passionate about EU-India relations. You will gain access to exclusive content, networking opportunities, and ways to contribute informally.

Why become an Associate Member of GenEI?

• Receive exclusive updates & insights on EU-India relations, GenEI events, and policy discussions.
• Attend members-only discussions and networking opportunities with experts and peers. While you will not lead the organization of events, you can participate in curated dialogues and community-building moments.
• Make your voice heard through surveys, consultations, and informal feedback channels. Associate Members can help shape discussions and provide perspectives without committing to ongoing responsibilities.
• You may be invited to contribute to our platform or newsletter—especially if your work aligns with our themes and priorities. Please note that content submissions from Active Members are prioritized.
• Have your achievements or research highlighted through our newsletter or social media channels.
  

General requirements

To become an Associate Member of GenEI, you must meet the following criteria:

• Be a national of any of the 27 EU Member States, India, or a country recognised as an EU membership candidate.
• Be between 18 and 35 years old.
• Exceptions: Candidates exceeding this age range or whose nationality falls outside our standard eligibility criteria may be considered for membership. If you do not meet the eligibility criteria but still wish to apply, please contact us separately at membersgenei@gmail.com. We are also open to exploring advisory roles for those with relevant experience and a strong alignment with our network’s goals.
