As the EU and India move into a new phase of their partnership following the January Summit in New Delhi and the launch of the Joint EU-India Comprehensive Strategic Agenda, what comes next for EU-India relations?
Generation EU-India (GenEI), in partnership with the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung (KAS) Office in Brussels, invites you to join us for a public event under the Chatham House Rule: “The Next Phase of EU-India Relations: A Brussels Conversation.”
Bringing together policymakers, researchers, diplomats and young professionals, this discussion will explore how EU institutions are engaging with India across trade, technology, connectivity and defence — and how the partnership fits within the EU’s broader Indo-Pacific approach. The conversation will also reflect on the key takeaways from GenEI’s White Paper, Two to Tango: EU-India Relations in 2025 and Beyond, and examine where tangible progress can realistically be achieved.
The panel will feature:
- Charles Whiteley, Head of South Asia Division, European External Action Service
- Garima Mohan, Senior Fellow, German Marshall Fund
- Lizza Bomassi, Research Analyst for the Indo-Pacific, European Union Institute for Security Studies
- Moderated by Patrizia Cogo, Co-Founder of GenEI & Associate Researcher at CIDOB (Barcelona Centre for International Affairs)
The event will conclude with refreshments and networking. You can find the program in the PDF below.
If you are interested in attending, we warmly encourage you to register your interest via this form. Places are limited and will be confirmed by email.
We look forward to welcoming you to this conversation on the future of EU-India relations.
